Location: Dai Lai Lake is situated at the foot of Tam Dao Mountain in Me Linh District, 50km from Hanoi.

Characteristic: Dai Lai Lake is an artificially created lake with 525ha. 

Dai Lai has diversified terrain features: lake lake shore hilly land valleys mountain side large enough to accommodate great amount of tourists on holidays convalescence swimming strolling water sportive games fishing and other activities on the shore and the lake at week-ends.

The climate and weather in Dai Lai are rather stable. It is cooler in Summer and warmer in Winter compared to Hanoi. Its precipitation is low Dai Lai lake water quality is acknowledged by the Institute of Hygiene and Prophilaxy (Health Ministry) as good in chemical termas. Animals are not many but there are several species: monkey wild boar deer sambar deer fox squirrel porcupine python snake and several bird species under protection. Dai Lai is being designed into a regional and international tourist area with golf fields villas commercial centers. Many foreign businessmen are doing research survey and many projects have been evaluated and issued with licenses. In a near future Dai Lai shall be an attractive area for recreation sports weekend holidays visit and sightseeing to local and international tourists.
