The Amazon rainforest, Vietnam's Halong Bay and Argentina's Iguazu Falls were named among the world's new seven wonders of nature, according to organisers of a global poll.

Not many tourists make it to Dak Lak – Dak Nong, which is one of the reasons why it’s attractive. But it’s easy to get to from Saigon - eight hours by bus or 40 minutes by plane to Buon Ma Thuot, the spacious and relaxed regional capital.  

The opening ceremony of the second Coconut Festival was held on January 15 at the foot of the Dong Khoi monument with floral displays, a coconut fashion show, a culinary contest and several children activities.
