Investigations show that Quang Ninh’s sea has abundant resources, with many kinds of fish and shrimp, and products of high economic value for either domestic use or export. 

Location: Va Gia – Cua Van is situated at Hung Thang Commune, Halong City, 20km away from the tourist boat wharf, the fishing village lies in a calm bay surrounded by mountain. Characteristics: Cua Van Village has a population of 733 in 176 households. They mainly earn their livelihood by fishing.   

Location: Today these furnaces are concentrated in the townships of Dong Trieu and Mao Khe. Characteristics: The products are varied with all kinds of pots, vases, bottles and statuettes. 

Location: Hat-making village Phu Cam (also Phuoc Vinh) lies on the southern bank of the An Cuu River in the centre of the former imperial capital of Hue. It’s a village famous for its traditional way of making conical hats for hundreds of years.  Characteristic: Hue conical hat or Phu Cam conical hat has not only a beautiful form but also modest color. It is light and so thin that light seems to pierce through it. Through natural light, one can see Hue landscapes with verses engraved on paper placed between two layers of leaves.  

Location: Yen Phu Incense Village is in the Yen Phu city gate, located on the edge of the mysterious West Lake in Tay Ho District , Hanoi. Characteristic: Besides the ornamental fish breeding, inhabitants in the village have done incense for long time. 

Location: Vong Village is in Cau Giay District, 7km from centre of Hanoi. Characteristic: This village is famous for com making. 

Characteristic: The area of Tay Ho, Quang Ba, Ngoc Ha, Huu Tiep, Dai Yen were the flower-growing land. Overtime, Hanoi has come into its times of modernization and industrialization. The traditional surrounding flower villages have been turning into "villages within the city". 

Location: Dinh Cong Jewelry Village which is located on the To Lich river bank is Dinh Cong Thuong Village, also called Dinh Cong kim hoan (Jewelry). It belongs to the present Thanh Tri District, Hanoi. Characteristic: The name of the village shows us it is already famous for jewelry handicraft. 

Location: In Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. Characteristic: The village of Ngu Xa appears as a small peninsula near the Truc Bach Lake. It‘s where many sophisticated bronze products were produced for the needs of the ancient capital of Thang Long.

Location: Bat Trang Pottery Village is located in the south east of Hanoi, passing Chuong Duong Bridge turns right and go about 10km along the dike of Red River. Bat Trang belongs to Bat Trang Commune, Gia Lam District, Hanoi. Characteristic: This is a pottery village with a half-millenary historic development.
